A postcard from Mumbles. ..

The Gower Peninsular in South Wales is a lovely area to visit with its abundance of  spectacular views, sandy beaches, hidden coves, caves and sand dunes.

This weekend we took advantage of the bank holiday to visit my brother and his family in Oystermouth which is in Mumbles.

After a couple of years being renovated the pier reopened this weekend and we were able to see the new lifeboat station.

Not forgetting my other passion (after music) the lighthouse!

And of course Oystermouth Castle is also a favourite place to visit!
