Water, water everywhere

This weeks blog post continues on from last weeks, as along with most of the country at the moment, our local river, the Severn, is in flood. Bewdley is currently on high alert with flood defences erected along both banks of the Severn, and the river is expected to rise further in the next few days. The bridge across the river is closed to vehicles, and if the flood defences had not been put in place many homes and businesses would have been flooded.
