Singing in Brecon

Last weekend my son and his choir, Kidderminster Male Choir, sang in Brecon Cathedral with the Aber Valley Male Voice Choir and singing trio Serin in aid of  Tŷ Hafan who provide palliative care for children with life-limiting conditions. To a near capacity audience the men entertained us with a varied programme from traditional Welsh hymn tunes and folk tunes to more modern pieces and show-tunes. The singing did not of course stop at the end of the concert, with a traditional ‘afterglow’ at a local hotel, which became a mass sing-along for choiristers and supporters alike.

As I have mentioned in previous posts, being able to support many worthwhile causes by doing something you enjoy is a true blessing, and this weekend was no exception. You can find out more about the wonderful work of  Tŷ Hafan here
